To extinguish the flame and prevent the wick from continuing to smolder after it has been extinguished, simply use our 1803 Candles® embellished Wick Dipper to push the burning wick into the molten wax and then lift out and straighten to ready for the next use. This leaves the wick coated and maintained allowing for longer use of your favorite candle. This pairs well with the 1803 Wick Trimmer also sold here in our Sundries shop.
